Partner & Managing Director, Operations & Digital Transformation

Twenty years of Fortune 500 operational discipline, brought to the business of building one house at a time.

Martin Hoeedholt
Martin Hoeedholt began his career in Copenhagen and spent more than twenty years in enterprise consulting, most of them at Deloitte, where he directed global data and technology transformation programs for Fortune 500 pharmaceutical, automotive and consumer companies and governed a $20 million automation portfolio. A Florida Certified Building Contractor and certified Project Management Professional, he leads operations and digital transformation at MTBH Studios.
He also knows what it feels like on the other side of the table. Martin and his family met Richard McGinniss years before they moved to Florida, and when they found their lot in St. Petersburg's Granada Terrace, Richard built their home. That experience, handing someone the biggest build of your life and hoping the promises hold, is the standard the studio is run against.
How a Build Actually Runs
The difference between a good design and a good outcome is everything that happens after the drawings are done. This is that part.
Project Controls
Schedule, cost, and scope on one system
Every trade, milestone, and dollar lives in a single platform rather than scattered across spreadsheets and text threads. When a date moves, everything downstream of it moves with it, visibly, the same day. No one finds out at the end of the month.
Budget Discipline
The number you approved is the number we manage to
Budgets are built line by line at preconstruction and tracked against actual commitments as they are issued, not after invoices land. Variances surface while there is still room to make a decision about them, which is the only time a variance is useful.
Selections and Decision Tracking
Every choice recorded, dated, and visible
Finishes, fixtures, and allowances are logged digitally with what was chosen, when, at what cost, and what it replaced. It ends the two conversations that damage custom home projects most: what did we decide, and why does the invoice say something different.
Trade Partner and Scope Management
Scopes written so nothing falls between trades
Most cost overruns are not price increases, they are gaps, work no one was contracted to do. Scopes are written to close those seams before bids go out, and bids are leveled against each other on identical scope rather than headline price.
Technology and AI-Enabled Workflows
Automation on the administration, judgment stays human
Field reporting, documentation, and reconciliation are automated so the team's time goes to the build rather than the paperwork around it. The technology exists to shorten the distance between something happening on site and you knowing about it.
Reporting and Communication
You see the same information we do
Progress, budget position, and upcoming decisions are reported on a fixed rhythm rather than on request. Clients and capital partners get the same view, because a build that only looks healthy when someone asks about it usually is not.
