MTBH Studios has completed more than 150 homes across Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg. If your design is already underway with an architect, or finished and ready to price, we are glad to take it from there and carry it to final key.
Two ways this usually starts
Whatever style you have drawn, we have built it before.
You have finished plans
You have a complete set and you are looking for the right builder. We review the drawings for constructability and cost, tell you honestly what they will take to build, and then build them.
You are working with an architect
You have chosen your architect, or you are about to. We coordinate with them through design, permitting and construction, so the intent in the drawings survives contact with the site.
We build value, not expensive homes
This is the part most builders will not say out loud. Drawings produced without a builder in the room often price out well above what the finished home is worth in its own market. By the time that surfaces, you have paid for a full set of documents and the choice is to redesign or overspend.
That is why we ask to be part of the conversation while the design is still moving. Not to take it over, and not to flatten it. To keep it buildable, and to keep what you spend in a sensible relationship to what the home is worth when it is finished.
Design-build is how we work best, because it removes the gap entirely. But we will take a build-only project where we can be involved enough in the design to be straight with you about budget.

Constructability and budget review
A read of your drawings against real Tampa Bay costs, site conditions and current lead times, before anyone commits.
Coordination with your architect
One team talking to your designer through permitting and the build, so questions get answered on the day rather than the week.
Selections and finishes
Guidance through materials and finishes, with the cost consequence of each choice on the table at the time you make it.
Construction and closeout
Full construction under our CGC and CBC licenses, through final walkthrough, warranty coverage and ongoing support.
Common questions
Can you build from plans I already have?
Yes. Bring finished construction documents and we will review them for constructability and cost, then build. We ask to look at the drawings before quoting, because that review is where most budget surprises get caught.
We are working with an architect. Will you work with them?
Gladly. We coordinate with your architect through permitting and construction, and we are happy to be brought in during design rather than after it. Earlier input means fewer changes once the drawings are sealed.
Why do you want to be involved before the plans are final?
Because drawings produced without a builder in the room often price out well above what the finished home is worth in its market. We would rather flag that while it is still a drawing than after you have paid for a full set.
